OUR HISTORY
The church was founded by a need in the community for an apostolic lighthouse. And in the Fall of 2000, God impressed a burden to fill that need in a young couple.
Pastor and Sister Griffin began holding services in their home to immediately be able to meet the need. Upon out growing the house, they secured a store-front location in downtown Hancock. Working diligently to transform the location as to transport you to a beautiful church after walking through the door.
In September of 2008, a piece of land was purchased to build a brand new church in this community. Upon uncovering the remnants of an old 6 story brewery - efforts were doubled to prepare the land for the building that stands as a lighthouse till this day. That building was completed in a month of weekends with a great company of different people coming together each week to complete it.
Many have come through the years. A great company have been baptized in Jesus name, and have received the gift of the Holy Ghost - walking the path where light has been shown. Today, many of those people have relocated to regions around the world and are actively working in ministry changing lives as their life was changed.
